Start with the ownership story, not a legal label
Many owners know that something feels wrong but are unsure whether the problem is mis-selling, an unfair term, a finance complaint, a resale dispute or simply a disappointing commercial outcome. Our assessment starts with the chronology and the evidence.
We look at the purchase
- Why you decided to buy and which statements influenced you
- How price, depreciation and resale were explained
- Whether pitch fees, utilities and other ongoing costs were clear
- What was said about letting income, season length and personal use
- Whether finance or commission was involved
We look at what happened afterwards
Later fee statements, rule changes, rental accounts, upgrade demands and resale offers can show whether the ownership developed in the way you were led to expect.
A fair and careful assessment
A large financial loss does not automatically prove a legal claim. Equally, a signed agreement does not always answer every question about the sales process. The facts, wording, timing and evidence all matter.
Possible routes
Depending on the circumstances and jurisdiction, the next step might involve a written complaint, a finance-provider complaint, negotiation, specialist legal advice or no further action. HPOH does not promise a particular outcome. Our role is to help capture the right information and direct suitable enquiries appropriately.
